The main purpose of this blog is to keep friends and family up to date on my progress while on the Appalachian Trail. Thanks to everyone for all the support! 57 day till Maine!

I will fly up to Maine on June 25th with my brother Cyrus and stay with my cousin Michael (Mozie) and his wife Alyssa. We will visit with them for a few days and learn how the good people of Norway, Maine live. We will travel to Mount Katahdin on the 28th and hike up and down. Then the journey begins.

I will post more about my gear and pack weight soon.
